Phantom: Revive in CHT bugged?

30 mins after today's reset one of my new maple friends who just started reached 135 and so I decided to take them to CHT to get some boss gear. Knowing full well that they'll probably die because they don't know Chaos Horntail's mechanics I let them because (as a phantom) I'd stolen revive from a bishop prior to entering. Right before the boss died, I switched from Final Cut to Revive waited about 20 sec before killing the boss so that all I had to do was revive them. But strangely even after spamming revive about 20 times
around their character they still hadn't respawned in the end they clicked the "OK" and got sent back outside. I was planning on trying it again after reset to see if that still happens. But normally they'd instantly respawn take their loot and go on their maple way, anyone else have this issue?
