Are the Fafnir equipment permanent?

In the lines of the event, it says that the equipment lasts for 30-days. Is this correct? If so, it seems ridiculous. It won't be worth the time to scroll or cube them if they're just going to expire.

    The Fafnir set obtained from the Tera Burning event expires after 30 days. The items are epic-tier and are already enhanced to 12 stars.

    This is how it was in KMS as well.
