This event is definitely one of Maplestory's more frequently recurring events, repeating in cycles of around 6 months. However, it's been a while since the last one, so I think that it would be an appropriate time, especially with the start of the new year carrying themes of renewal and to complement the Tera Burning event, where many people invested into new characters.
