This suggestion might be very niche, or maybe not, but I think it would be very useful and convenient if it were possible to alter the default keyboard settings in game to reflect the comfortable playstyle of the player. In the game, at the start of every character creation, the keyboard settings are defaulted to a specific keyboard layout. However, very few players actually use the initial settings that the game provides and upon making a character, whether it be for legion or the introduction of a new class or simply just wanting to start over, readjusting those settings can be one of the most annoying things to do. I propose that an easy solution would be to allow the player to override the game's provided default keyboard settings with his or her own desired layout, so that every new character that is created within that account can adapt that same setup for the player's convenience.

For most people, reorganizing their keyboard layout takes probably 15 or so seconds per character. One thing that bears keeping in mind, however, is that people more than likely have different keyboard layouts for different classes. It depends primarily on how many skills a class has, and how many of those are actually used beyond job advancement thresholds. I try to stick to one sort of generalized setup of my hotkeys on all my characters, but for certain ones, like zero, I've had to deviate fairly hard from that typical setup. The point I'm getting at is that one generic keyboard setup probably would not work for all players across all characters. The fact that most people rearrange the current default setup holds this to be true.

All of that said, this would still be something cool to have. Especially if it would work across worlds.

It takes a while to clear the number keys and move chat keys. Even if is not perfect like zero, it is a pretty good shortcut
