I used to play maplestory about 4 years ago, I come back and now everybody is missing. Even scania which is was at the time most populated has gone empty. Where did everybody go'?

    Why don't people do party quests anymore?

    Because they've been neglected by the developers for years now. The rewards they give now are the same ones they gave ten or more years ago. It's not worth the time, for a large majority of players, to go through them the amount of times necessary to earn what's essentially garbage and anvil fodder.

    There will be a world merge in August, after the summer update, at which point (Broa, Khaini, Galicia, Renegades, Arcania, Zenith, El Nido, and Demethos) will be merged into one world and (Windia, Mardia, Yellonde, Bellocan, Chaos, Kradia, and Nova) will be merged into another, with the end result of 5 worlds total (2 new worlds, Scania, Bera, and Reboot).

    Party Quests do not give as much EXP for players. A GMS-exclusive Party Quest and Party Quest revamp (at least for the Cross-World Party Quests) were announced during Maple Fest.
