If you want a class closer to old TB...I guess try bucc or Corsair. Old TB is gone because it got revamped skill set, as have most classes from long ago. Unfortunately finding a character with the same skillset as before (I never played old TB so I can't say for certain) is challenging.

Well....actually you can have a semi old thunder breaker if you make a bucc and do the quest with the dew drops ( empress might quest) you get the shark throw skill and the spirit summon...

Wel that quest is quite a pain though. So it might be better to help him pick a class similar to the old TB...and those skills are pretty bad, damage wise. (I have a UE Bishop so I kinda know those skills)

As I've seen elsewhere, the only skill that's remotely worthwhile is only remotely worthwhile for one class, and that's oz's flame gears for f/p. Everything else is hot dook.

It has synergy with DoT Punisher, in that you get an extra orb for each enemy under the effects.
You can also use it to fill another DoT for the max damage bonus on mist eruption.
Most of the time it's more trouble than it's worth though. I usually throw it up in a boss when I couldn't attack anyway due to mechanics.
