Storage room 4 slot coupon in Leaf City bugged?

Just bought 3 of these storage room 4 slot coupons from Sly but when I used it nothing happened.
Do these not work? I swear I've bought the ETC tab 4 slot just yesterday and that worked...

Also something to note, after using the coupon and trying to click on Koscu for storage I get this message saying 'you cannot complete this action right now. Evade the attack and try again'.

Definitely not fighting any monsters. (does this have anything to do with me being a Beast Tamer?)

    From what I know, KMS has this bug too. We must've gotten it from them. Not sure if KMS fixed at all.
