Until a couple weeks ago when I was able to regain my long lost account I hadn't played since 2011/2012 I think.     There is no update that I know of that would have deleted your rings, but it would be more helpful if you had a recent picture to compare your current equipment.

    Additionally, Evolving Rings aren't all that useful now, so you shouldn't worry too much about them.
