Afterlands transparent trees did not grow

This is related to the quest in afterlands. The NPC alder asks me to plant the trees by placing the bleached olive tree at the designated areas. When I put the bleached olive tree in those areas, nothing happended. (I have completed this quest before, so I know the process. However this time, I dropped the item many times, but nothing happened; I tried relogin as well, didnt work.)

    Bump. Same issue here. The bleached olive tree simply disappeared. This result in the quest cannot be completed.
