Some Kinesis balance/revamp ideas

So I know that this is a long shot, but better try then be shy.

I'll introduce myself. My IGN is Khaz and I'm playing on EU Reboot. My main is a level 250 Kinesis and this is some stuff I thought about that could really update the gameplay of Kinesis so hopefully it'll suit more the current state of the game.

1. Mind over Matter - Those changes will help our mobbing and bossing capabilities without making the skill too OP.

*Should get the option to toggle to be stationary.
*Give more uptime by making the c/d shorter OR the skill lasts longer.
*Nerf the overall damage of the skill.

Mobbing - the option to make the summon stationary and more uptime will make it a viable summon that can consistently help us clear maps and not just use it on looting cycles/not use it at all.
Bossing - Again, stationary means that we have one less thing to worry about while bossing. Of course if we decide to toggle it to be stationary that can play against us if the bind wears off the boss and he moves.

2. Kinetic Combo - One of the most useless skills on our kit. Logically speaking, those projectiles should be the best projectiles among all classes since Kinesis can actually control them with his mind. Those changes will actually makes this a viable skill to utilize and take advantage of.

*Make them proc when using other skills than Grab, like Shockwave, Shot, Deep Impact.
*Make them travel further.
*Higher proc rate/more projectiles ejected.
*Tbh I didn’t check how strong they’re, but make them hit like NL/NW projectiles or even worse (so we’ll need to be stronger in order to 1/2shot with them) since our mobbing isn’t THAT bad to begin with.

Mobbing
- The projectiles will act more similar to NL/NW/PF/etc projectiles, making it more viable skill to consider while grinding.
Bossing - a nice DPS boost that we don’t have to actually use our brain for. Can be a nice addition considering our new 5th job skills is very trash.



3. Make MoM/Tornado cast animation a little bit faster - so we won’t have to waste so much precious time just on casting our skills during bursts.

Overall, Kinesis isn’t that viable class. Our DPM is bad, our DPS isn’t that good even tho we need to micromanage relatively hard compared to most classes, party utility? lol. Thought about those changes in order to make Kinesis a bit more viable, and recognized as a better class as it should be.

Would like to know what you think. It’s time that we would get some good revamp for a change.
