Bug type: Missing medals in medal collection

Brief bug summary: Collected two medals and threw them away, but they did not appear in medal collection

More details: Completed two achievements in the Abrup Mission Board separately. Collected the medals "The Moth of Skuas" and "Tentaslapped!" at the same time while inside the Julieta boss's waiting area. Threw the medals away to save inventory space while still inside the waiting area. Left the waiting area to check out medal collection but they are not present. Waited for a whole day and nothing seems to have changed.

Steps to reproduce: Collect a medal and throw it away within a minute (unclear if it is consistently reproducible)

    Some medals register and some don't. There was a post with a list of said medals, and it's not just any medal, so you can't just "collect a(ny) medal and throw it away" to reproduce the bug.
