[Heizan Temple] Takedas Request 2 bug

So I am currently playing on my zero on reboot and wanted to do the Heizan temple questline for the equips, but I am stuck on Takedas Request 2 where you need to grow the herb with that contaminated goblin detritus. The issue is that no matter how many of the mobs I kill there, it won't drop a single detritus. I have swapped channels, restarted my internet and computer but nothing works.
