So I finished all of the mushroom shrine up until getting the cape, and did the showa questline up to being able to fight the Yakuza Boss for the Threads of Fate item for +7 closeness with the mushroom shrine characters. However, trying to use the item prompts a message where I don't meet the req and that i should try again when I do meet the req to use it? Anyone know how to fix the issue?

    The quest "[Mushroom Shrine Tales] Tengu's Training" must be finished before you can use the threads of fate. You only need to finish the quest by talking to Tengu at Moonlight Bamboo Grove (not at the mushroom Shrine), no need to fight him again.
