Hair clipping through Expansive Knowledge Hat

Brief bug summary:
Most (male) hair styles ( the current ones in the cash shop as well as the hair from the explorer gift) I've tried have resulted in clipping through the Expansive Knowledge hat. It does not flatten your hairstyle like most hats so hair comes out in spots it should not.

Steps to reproduce:
Use any hairstyle that has a high vertical reach or with waves/flips on the sides and equip the Expansive Knowledge hat (which is from the destiny pre-registration package that was given out for free).
