A Question in regards to MVP tiers/Rank ups.

Are we not supposed to get points towards our next MVP tier rank(or keep current) with purchases of marvel spins? or does that have to exclusively come from the cash shop? I feel like as we spent the money for the game of maplestory it should count, but at the same time seeing how its a separate entity from the game it doesn't auto track. Possibly a bug? Or Working as intended? For now I do not want to buy any more spins, because I'm spending nx (prepaid at that, which also is taxed) on the game of maplestory and I don't really see how its different than just buying something from the cash shop.
