Item Pick Up, Looting system

The looting system in this game is so outdated, it's insane that something as essential as item looting is locked behind a paywall.
Free pets like Blackheart are just a bandaid to a system that was not designed around the current game.
Mapestory M figured it out with its looting system, any item the character walks over gets looted.
I know this is a change that most likely can only be fixed by the KMS side, does anyone know if the looting system is every talked about on the KMS forums?
