Battle Mage Gauge keeps moving

As the title suggests, I am having problems where every time I enter a new area, my Purple bar to fill up Grim Contract keeps moving to a random place on my screen.
I have no such problems on other Gauge characters, it is only battle mage where I see this bug happen. Any help or anyone else having this issue?
