Hookshot Skill, it's gone! :(

Hi, I've been away for a while, I'm not sure what I missed, but I definitely missed the Hookshot skill getting the axe! What happened? I freaking loved that skill, added another dimension of mobility, which as a marksman I deeply appreciate.
Someone mentioned I could use the Covering Fire as a makeshift second flash jump, but that's just way too bulky and too nuanced for it to be of much use.

Can we get Hookshot back? Purdy please?:<

    Destiny overhauled all explorer classes. (Except Pathfinder) I believe Marksman and Bowmaster gained a teleport skill instead of the hookshot.
    Covering Fire is an extremely useful skill that's used to control momentum and stay in the air. Hardly nuanced unless you don't boss.
