I asked approximately 20 maplers to tell me what their rates are to get a 22 pitched the median was extremely low
Meaning that pitches are too hard to procure but same time the span of getting one is also very long.

I’m thinking about two things : increase the chances of getting pitched
Or
Give a pity system such as after X amount of booms on a single item increase the rates of success from 15 to 20 at least

What do you guys say? Or if you have better ideas comment down below

A pity system would be great, because then you don't run into the problem of parties breaking up later because it's better odds at pitched if they do.
Even if it takes 6 months to accumulate enough coins to get it, the bosses should drop something that can be used to purchase the item on reboot.

With drop on failure, the star up rate is actually 1/8th of the indicated success rate and the boom rate is 8x the indicated boom rate, this is just how math works.

If you have a 20% chance to succeed and drop on failure is in play, the chance to actually achieve that star rank is roughly 2.2%. This is the chance for getting a star gain, despite the success rate being 20% to indicate whether you get +1 star or not i.e. you are 17 star and want 18 star and the chance was 20% for +1 star, your chances to actually get 18 star is 2.2% chance since if you fail the star drops to 16 star then need to get back to 17 and reattempt 18 star.

    Example numbers, not actual.

But they won't have a pity system for 22 stars because they want the players to have something to chase after.
