To avoid another Kanna situation... (NW)
To avoid another Kanna situation Nexon should probably tone down Night Walkers a bit, or at the very least not buff them for a while. It's always a bizarre situation when you have a class that does everything well; mobbing, bossing, single target, burst - in conjunction with their insane survivability. Of course this always feels amazing to play, but at the same time when looking through the eyes of a min-maxer, there's not much reason to play any other DPS. Sure there's similar classes that seem to have everything going, but they always have some type of drawback. For instance take Demon Slayer, basically the king of melee DPS. They're insane at bosses with high DPM, burst, and survivability but their mobbing is pretty bad aside from some niche maps. They also feel clunky to play. Night Walker seems to have no downside
1. Great DPM and Burst, can fit into any meta / party comp
2. One button farming class w/ decent to good rates (15k for one button)
3. Shield, lifeleech, auto revive, and dark sight. How do you even die in bosses
4. Very easy to play
All of this is eerily reminiscent of Kannas back in the day except in the form of a DPS. Kanna was also good at everything, best farmer, second best support, and very respectable bossing. It got to the point where almost 50% of the server was a Kanna main. Now if you look at Hyperion.... a very similar situation is going on for Night Walkers. I'd wager that around 10-20% of the server is composed of Night Walkers (which when there's almost 50 classes, is pretty significant).
