When enjoying the Arcane River sites I notice only three different recipes - Advanced Luck Potion I, Advanced Intelligence Potion IX and Advanced Intelligence Potion X. Other than being frustrated, it is a bit irritating as I do enjoy potion making as part of the game. Why is this and can it be changed to allow a variety of recipes to be obtained? Thanks

    I understand that you may be feeling a bit perplexed. Could you please specify the source of your frustration? Is it primarily the challenge of locating recipes, the absence of automatic availability, or the uncertainty regarding where to find them?

    1. Are you in search of recipes?
    2. Lack of automatic access?
    3. Unsure of where to find recipes?

    1. Locating recipes can range from easy to challenging, depending on your individual preferences, often involving Mobs and Bosses. Utilizing the Auction House is also a suitable method in a Regular Server.

    2. The inclusion of Automatic access to recipes in MapleStory would diminish the excitement and sense of adventure in the game.

    3. Locating a specific recipe can sometimes be a challenging endeavor, but there are always avenues available to uncover it. Personally, I often rely on platforms like YouTube or Google for such matters.

    1: Yes, but not too much.
    2: For the ATK/Stat potions, yes. I understand why potions like the Wealth or Experience Acquisition Potions, or Superior Blessing Potion require one.
    3: Given that the wiki keeps DDoSsing itself, yes.

    It's more the fact that every single Arcane River monster has the same recipe drops that's annoying people.
    If you actually read Carlac's post, you'd see them say

    The Intelligence Potion X recipe drops from 6 monsters, but one of those is Mirror World so it doesn't count.
    The Advanced Intelligence Potion X recipe drops from 4 monsters.
    The Advanced Intelligence Pill X recipe drops from 4 monsters - as well as literally every single non-anti-afk monster in the Arcane River.

    Yes. I love having to go kill several Official Knight E, Skelegon, and Castle Golem just to unlock the ability to craft my job's +30 mainstat potions. And then kill more Castle Golems for another recipe when i need to restock. This is so exciting, isn't it!
