Unable to claim golden giveaway attendance

Brief bug summary:
I met the 1000 mob kill requirement for today (8/29) but the count under Rock spirit's golden giveaway is still 0/1000 and the button says "checked in" even though I haven't checked in yet (there are no checkmarks on the card).

More details:
I missed 1 day of attendance (8/28) but that shouldn't affect my ability to do it today because I logged on and met the quota during 8/29.
I was able to complete the Chu Chu Special Slushy attendance for today. I tried killing mobs after turning that in, but my golden giveaway kill count still didn't change.

Character name: Clypsed

Character level: 210

Character job: Luminous

World name: Bera

Date and time of the incident: 12:30 am EST, 8/29/24

    Update: I ended up being able to complete the check-in on another character, although I needed to kill 1000 mobs again. Seems you can't do both attendance checks at once?
