Briefly mention the recent KMS change to Lara:

A rush-like skill does nothing for Lara for several reasons, but from a user standpoint:

~ You don't have the keyboard space for this. Could have made an alternate teleport mode instead where it turns the teleport into a Battle-Mage-like teleport, maybe more unique where it still has charges to be spammed, but works the same as Battle Mage's teleport otherwise.
- You then are letting the player decide between what teleport they like more for reactive movement for bossing. Linked to Dragon Veins or a set distance teleport.

~ The way Lara plays, a rush skill does nothing for her and has no cohesion to her ability kit and thus is not very useful. She needs a 4-direction movement skill that most importantly can be used while airborne.

Below is more substantial skill changes, most notably remakes and reworks to the Manifestation skills and reducing how many skills can be key bound for a smoother and more pleasant play experience with cleaning up the keyboard space by having the 3 Manifestation skills summon from a new single skill use, what skill is summoned is based on that Dragon Vein element like how Absorption and Eruption skills work.

Dragon Vein: Manifestation:
New Skill:
Description: Summon either Manifestation: Where the River Courses, Manifestation: Wind Swing, and Manifestation: Sunlight-Filled Ground based on what type of Dragon Vein this skill was used on.

All Manifestation Skills become passives instead of actives since this new skill becomes the only active. Functionally are still the same for Sunlight and Wind.

Manifestation: Sunlight-Filled Ground:
Adjusted and Buffed:
Cooldown: Removed.
Healing: Increased to 20% HP every second from 10% HP every 2 seconds so that Lara can function as a proper healer. This might need to be increased even further.
Ability Area: Width increased by at least 100% and Height increased by at least 100% [4x total area size to current, minimum].
Area Duration: Increased to 30 seconds from 20 seconds.

The size of the Manifestation skills are way to small to be usable for current boss designs, on top of them having the cooldown makes these skills way to hard to use within the chaos of a boss fight.

These skills need to be reliable with full uptime to properly serve their purpose for solo play and for party members to actually utilize these skills, which currently is not happening.


Manifestation: Wind Swing:
Modified and Buffed:
Cooldown: Removed.
Flight: Improve to only require hold the jump key to enter flight and remain in flight. Instead of the current hold up directional key and jump to enter flight, and then hold jump to remain flying.
Ability Area: Width increased by at least 100% and Height increased by at least 100% [4x total area size to current, minimum].
Area Duration: Increased to 300 seconds from 30 seconds.

This skill is way to small to really capture the gameplay to freely fly around and it being so small makes it useless to use in boss fights.

The other part is that this skill, to be utilized properly, for solo play and even more important for party members is by not just having full uptime with no cooldown, but a really long duration like 300 seconds (or longer) so that once created, everyone can rely on its flight properties to use when needed.

Skills that enhance movement options like this need to be reliable or they become useless of a skill. Having a reliable flight would greatly help out Lara's solo bossing while making her more useful for party play as well.


Manifestation: Where the River Courses:
Remake:
Cooldown: Removed.
Skill Function: Has the same area size as the Sunlight and Wind counterparts and now works in a similar way.
Area Duration: 300 seconds.

Passive (Active): Summon the power of the river for 300 seconds, Lara and Party Members within the aquatic area restore 2% MP every second and if they double tap any of the four directional keys, then they will quickly swim [dash] a set distance in that direction, this can be done one time while airborne.

Use the jump skill during the dash will instantly stop the dash early.

The current River Manifestation is a cool novelty skill, but it is completely useless and never used outside of the first few times you play Lara. This skill will be a lot more useful for mobbing and bossing by giving Lara and her party members a 4-directional dash. Mobbing to help Lara get around the map easier and bossing for that quick reactive get away from a boss attack.

Mountain Embrace:
Modified:
Lara is immune to all abnormal status effects and cannot be knocked back by any attack while using this skill.

Addition:
Greatly increase the size of this skill and allow party members within the area to also be affected by the skill's effects.

Addition:
Lara and party members under the effects of Mountain Embrace now also cause healing from Manifestation: Sunlight-Filled Ground to ignore all anti-healing mechanics.

This will boost the excitement of this skill by adding on a party play mechanic! Now a skillful Lara can protect her party from dying by some lethal boss attacks with good timing and good skill usage.
