A discussion about JMS content.
JMS content includes Sengoku classes, mushroom shrine, our familiar system, and Akechi/pno as bosses.
From my perspective, much of the content originating from Japanese MapleStory (JMS) represents some of the less successful overseas additions to the game. Systems like the Familiar system have drawn considerable player criticism regarding their functionality and inherent problems. The Sengoku classes feel particularly neglected, lacking essential quality-of-life features that are now standard for most other classes (such as conventional cooldown timings) and are frequently affected by issues like random bans and bugs. Content like the Mushroom Shrine, while popular, seems valued primarily for providing resources scarce on Reboot servers, rather than for well-regarded design; its mechanics and questline are often viewed negatively. Bosses like Princess No, despite recent quality-of-life updates, are generally run out of necessity for their drops, with the encounters themselves being widely disliked.
Therefore, I believe JMS content warrants a significant review and should be potentially taken over by another team. This content clearly feels neglected. While removing it entirely would likely cause even more issues in my opinion, its current state reflects very poorly on overseas content in general and MapleStory as a whole, even though the majority of neglected content comes from a specific region.

2.Mushroom Shrine: unfortunetly most of it is talk talk talk.....if they cut that out the wings would be too easy to get...availability at lvl 100 is a huge power up untill 180....it could use a skip option however after clearing it 3 time
3. Sengoku classes, or rather all classes should not be uniformized to a 2 minutes cooldowns....its turning the classes to be kin of clones to each other....so i hope the balance update from KMS dont apply to GMS, would be better if they just gave the 3 mins class a dps buff while part of a 4 or more players group to compensate not being able to line up their burst with the whole group cd
like 4 man party +12% FD passive....5 man party ? +14% FD passive....6 man party ? 16% FD passive
much preferable over all classes becoming a 2 min burst...idk if that suggestion is a mistake but i'am not looking forward all classes becoming a 2 min burst
4. P-No bosses....the bosses mechanics are uninteresting but not disliked.....what is disliked is the dmg cap on whale and the little guys...as well as having to wait 1 min for lightning man to come down.....that aside P-No is an out of date boss from an era where lvl cap was like lvl 200 if not mistaken ?
JMS will likely revamp the bosses at some point and when they do its likely gonna come to GMS....be patient....Neo Tokyo is currently whats being rework for JMS atm and thats whats GMS is waiting for
5.JMS also have 2 new bosses planned....1 which is Oda Nobunaga(big story villain)......and the other 1 is his "assistant" or second in command
6.it doesn't reflect poorly on oversea content, although, the work force on JMS seem kin of ded these days
7.the ban issue is something that definetly need to be address, but i'am worried they do what they did to Jett and goes nope we're too lazy, we be deleting Kanna & Hayato now...enjoy your garbo explorers(which you already have 1 of)
8. GMS team is not responsible for JMS content updates, so GMS team can't rly do much about it
9.btw yes QoL for P-No Gauntlet could been better ...at least we did get a lil something...but ya its still bad(maybe nother time they fully get rid of bad design).....very least its not enraging like the teleport spam down like the whale use to do
10. little off-topic but i'd like showa town to be up to date....more specificly the Hideout because the music is pretty neat in there and has good aesthetic for the Parking Lot and the Armory.....the Armory need the tank to be added in there for GMS...it was remove years ago because maple was deem a "kid" game....but honestly its harmless for a kid to see a tank....they be seeing real ones in youtube news anyway or even some old cartoon shows(for Example Johny test cartoon has tanks) and its fully approved for tv on channels like teletoon.....or i could even mention Captain Harlock which has a more serious tone
Well I can see your perspective on most of your arguments,3. I really can't.
Let me ask you which classes are closer to each other in play style, cadena, blaster, hero, nightlord. Personally I would pair night/hero and blaster/cadena despite them having different cooldowns as there actual playstyles feel alot closer(ie it is not the cd's that make the class in my opinion) Secondary standarizing cd's is just simply healthy qol as it makes finding party compositions alot easier. Ask any kanna main above 290 and they do not find their197second cd a unique part of their class but instead a burden.
