Two important things that are key to the fun to Infinity, and thus Explorer Mages, is:
1: The amping aspect to Infinity and it not just being one static value. This also helps increase the skill expression to these classes.
2: The unique build of wanting to stack Buff Duration to get even more damage is actually a fun thing that breaks up Explorer Mages from most of the other classes in the game.

INFINITY IMPROVEMENTS THAT EMBRACE ITS UNIQUENESS:

Infinity:
Rework:
Turns into a toggle skill. Cooldown of 1 second.
While active, regenerate 10% HP and MP every 5 seconds. Gain 15% Final Damage that increases every 2 seconds up to 50% Final Damage over 20 seconds, then decreases every 2 seconds down to 15% Final Damage over 20 seconds, this cycle repeats.
This Final Damage can be increased further with Buff Duration.

Initially activating Infinity will always begin at the minimum Final Damage value.

Example: If you have 100% Buff Duration, then the minimum Final Damage will be 30% and the maximum Final Damage will be 100%, and everything in-between increased respectively as well.

This creates the fun of an always changing Final Damage buff like how Infinity is now and the fun in Explorer Mages' Buff Duration stacking builds.

And the reason to have this as a toggle and not a passive is for proper skill expression and to give certain players control. So every time you turn on Infinity, it starts at its minimum value, but you can turn it off and then back on so that you can time it with your burst, just wait 16-20 seconds later and then burst to get out your maximum damage.

Since toggles function like passives, but keeping control for the player, players can decide if they just want to leave it active the whole time or want to control its increasing and decreasing cycle so that they can time the max final damage with their burst.

Also, no caps, let this skill have maximum fun with builds! Let players try to figure out what is the best build to go with for themselves. And seeing how strong you can make Infinity is half the fun!

Overcharged Infinity:
New Skill - Replaces Unreliable Memory:
Passive: Gain +60 INT [At Rank 30].

Active: Gain 30% Buff Duration [At Rank 30] and Infinity can only increase and no longer decreases in Final Damage for the next 10 seconds. This duration can be increased further with Buff Duration.

Cooldown: 120 seconds.

This would be a 5th job skill with a rule breaking effect where it functions with Buff Duration.

This is a burst skill that requires skill to properly use, and when used properly will be devastatingly strong!
It is okay to have some skill expression in the game, mages are supposed to be intelligent after all, and this type of skill is just that as you want to use this at max Final Damage for the best results.
