Not able to duo Trace of Lotus genesis mission

Greetings Maplestory Support/Bug Team

The bug is regarding the Lotus genesis mode for the Trace of Lotus: Wing Master liberation quest. My friend and i are both at the same progression in the liberation quest and have both not cleared genesis mode prior. When trying to enter genesis mode a prompt stating the possibility for duo appears but no option of "Start Trial". When clicking OK the prompt simply closes and nothing happens.
My friend and I do both not have 1000 Trace of Darkness but that is normally not a requisite to clear the boss prior.
