This is being based on the current changes I see coming from Classic World for the Cleric job:

Heal:
Add on a new effect of applies a healing buff for 15 seconds [increases with buff duration for the future] to self and party members, healing for 20% Recovery every 1 second.

This is in addition to what Heal already does.
FEEDBACK:
This would be nice where it will allow Cleric the option to spam Heal to be fully focused as a healer, or the player can choose to still be healing the party, but the healing goes down in exchange for being able to using the attacking skills at the same time.

This gives the player the option between only healing or performing a hybrid setup for a more enjoyable experience.

Bless:
Increase the buff effects to feel more noticeable and rewarding to use.
(At Master Level)
: Increase accuracy to 25
: Increase avoid to 40
: Increase Potion/Skill Healing Increase to 20%
: Add on 10% Reduce Skill Cost
FEEDBACK:
Just have values high enough with some more love to have the effects of Bless more noticeable and feel like it is actually doing something.

Avoid being higher than accuracy, along with more increased healing effect, helps focus Cleric more as a healer and protector to keep the party alive.
And reduce skill cost is something small, but useful for old maplestory, that helps makes the buff more impactful and not feel like invisible power.

Holy Arrow:
Add on, each arrow heals party members it passes through for 3% HP (total 9% HP if all three arrows pass through the same party member).
FEEDBACK:
Give more reason to use Holy Arrow and cement Cleric as a healer.


Bonus for the future:

PRIEST:

Shining Ray:
Additional effect: (At Master Level) Has a 50% chance to inflict blind to struck monsters for 5 seconds.
This would be an effect to give Shining Ray something more than just be a damage skill, it would help keep yourself and party members alive as a protector, focusing Cleric as that dedicate support class to help the party and not be about big damage numbers.

While at the same time, still able to deal damage.

Holy Symbol:
Additional effect: Marks nearby monsters with a holy mark for 10 seconds.
Monsters that die with a holy mark grant 100% increased EXP.

Buff effect to self and party members reduced to 10% increased EXP from 50% increased EXP.
(Going from memory here, also remember that Holy Symbol used to be a final multiplier of EXP as well.)

Efficiency of these effects are reduced by 50% if you are solo.
The idea here is result in a nerf-buff balance shift.

As a passive buff, it becomes significantly weaker, in exchange will receive a much more local and active effect that makes the exp quite a bit higher.
The result and hope for this type of change is greatly nerf lazy priests, but reward and buff the active priests that put in more effort.

Also, this will nerf leeching significantly so and hopefully encourages active party grinding.
