Classic World: Pathfinder Job Concept:

I think it would be cool for all 15 Explorers to be in Classic World, including Pathfinder, but Pathfinder would have to be completely remade and reimagined into a new job entirely in order to have a more old MapleStory feel to the design.

Now Pathfinder, similar to Dual Blade, would be a character job and not branch off of Explorer Archer directly.

For this concept, Pathfinder both will have an unique playstyle to make it feel unique and very different to Bowman and Crossbowman, but also be a dedicated support to help fix the mistakes of the path of the support drought (Cleric being the only support is not a good thing, to create variety in choice and playstyles, but also for one job doesn't appear to be super dominant with many different support jobs in circulation and not relying on support and Cleric being the same thing) and for Pathfinder to have a meaningful purpose in the game.

Also, Pathfinder will just use a regular bow for the weapon of choice, same bows that Bowman can use.

Vague idea for this concept would be giving Pathfinder a hold down skill - drains MP per second while in use, infinite duration - that allows Pathfinder to enter into a Dark Sight state and gain increased TOTAL Speed to get around quicker so they can set up Relics in place and their arrows will interact with these Relics based on the Relic to set up fun training ground areas and offer unique party buffs for party members that these arrows pass through after they interact with that Relic.

The other part is offer Artifact Arrows, which is a toggle that you can cycle between three different types that either grant healing, defensive stats or a short time, or utility stats for a short time based on the selected arrow to self and party members it passes through - independent of Relic effects.

Noting that the same arrow can only interact with the same relic once.

CONCEPT KIT BELOW:

JOB 1:

Ancient Arrow:
Fire an arrow forward, dealing damage to up to 4 monsters.
If this arrow collides with a Relic, then it will reset its monster hit count and extends it range based on the properties of the Relic.

Shadow Path:
Hold: Consume MP per second, enter into a Dark Sight state and gain 50% increased Total Speed, which can exceed the Speed Limit.

Relic of Youth:
Place down a Relic that is said to be filled with eternal youth for 300 seconds.

When Ancient Arrow collides with this Relic, its current path of trajectory is extended 600 units and applies a buff to struck party members and self if struck, granting them 20% increased healing from skills and potions and causes them to be healed for 10% HP every 0.5 second for the next 30 seconds.

Passive: Self gains 20% increased healing from skills and potions.

JOB 2:

Artifact Arrows:
Toggle: Use once to activate. Once activated, use to cycle between different Artifact Arrows of Artifact of Healing [RED], Artifact of Durability [BLUE], or Artifact of Swiftness [YELLOW], granting self and party members the effect that Ancient Arrow passes through.

Artifact of Healing: Heals for 20% HP.

Artifact of Durability: Grants 20% Weapon Defense, 20% Magic Defense, and 20% HP for 10 seconds.

Artifact of Swiftness: Grants 25 Speed, 25 Jump, and 25 Avoid for 10 seconds.

Passive: Ancient Arrow deals increased damage.

Relic of Trickery:
Place down a Relic that is said to deceive for 300 seconds.

When Ancient Arrow collides with this Relic, its current path of trajectory is reversed in the opposite direction and travels 800 units, and applies a buff to struck party members and self if struck of 30 Weapon and Magic Attack for 180 seconds while reducing the attack of struck monsters by -25% for 60 seconds.

JOB 3:

Ancient Arrow II:
Fire an arrow upwards either directly above you, to the right at an angle, or to the left at an angle, depending on if you used this skill with the up, right, or left directional key, dealing damage to up to 5 monsters.

This does the same thing as Ancient Arrow.

Passive: Ancient Arrow deals increased damage and can hit up to 5 monsters.

Relic of Weightless:
Place down a Relic that is said to have no weight to it for 300 seconds.

When Ancient Arrow collides with this Relic, its current path of trajectory is changed to shoot upwards 1,200 units, and applies a buff to struck party members and self if struck causing them to jump up to 3 more times once all of their regular jumps have been expended for 300 seconds.

Relic of Gravity:
Place down a Relic that floats 800 units directly above you that is said to distort the laws of gravity for 300 seconds.

When Ancient Arrow collides with this Relic, its current path of trajectory is changed to shoot downwards 1,200 units and moves twice as fast, and applies a buff to struck party members and self if struck causing them to change gravity to 10% effectiveness if they hold the up directional key or to 200% effectiveness if they hold the down directional key, for the next 300 seconds.

[NOTE: 10% effectiveness means you fall down at 1/10th than the regular speed and 200% effectiveness means you fall down twice as fast than the regular speed.]

JOB 4:

Ancient Arrow III:
Passive: Grant new visual effects and increase the damage and monster hit count to 7 for Ancient Arrow and Ancient Arrow II.

Gold Jewel:
Place down a Gold Jewel for 600 seconds, when an Ancient Arrow passes through it, the jewel will shine to deal damage to struck monsters and apply a debuff for 10 seconds, causing the monster to grant 50% increased EXP.

The Ancient Arrow afterwards will grant a buff to struck party members and self of 10% increased EXP for 180 seconds.

Ruby Jewel:
Place down a Ruby Jewel for 600 seconds, when an Ancient Arrow passes through it, the jewel will shine to deal damage to struck monsters and apply a debuff for 10 seconds, causing the monster to grant 20% increased item drop rate.

The Ancient Arrow afterwards will heal struck party members and self for +15% HP.

Sapphire Jewel:
Place down a Sapphire Jewel for 600 seconds, when an Ancient Arrow passes through it, the jewel will shine to deal damage to struck monsters and apply a debuff for 10 seconds, causing the monster to be silenced and blinded.

The Ancient Arrow afterwards will restore struck party members and self for 5% MP.

Emerald Jewel:
Place down an Emerald Jewel for 600 seconds, when an Ancient Arrow passes through it, the jewel will shine to deal damage to struck monsters and apply a debuff for 10 seconds, causing the monster to be slowed by 75%.

The Ancient Arrow afterwards will grant a buff to struck party members and self granting +20% increased healing from skills and potions and 10% reduced skill cost for 180 seconds.

Forbidden Archery:
Consume all of your current MP, firing 1 arrow for every 300 MP that was consumed.

Fire a volley of arrows directly above you equally spread apart to then fall down after they reach their maximum range, dealing damage to struck monsters both going up and coming down, and interacting with Relics and Jewels like they are Ancient Arrows.
