How to currently configure a joystick in Maplestor

A few days ago I switched PCs, and when I opened MapleStory, I was surprised to find I couldn't find the joystick settings. I've been playing this way for 20 years, and I understand the game has changed quite a bit, but I'm wondering:

How do I configure it now? I'm playing MapleStory through the Nexon Launcher. I would appreciate any help with this.

    Nexon has moved away from officially supporting controllers, the easiest way is to use Steam or AntiMicro/AntiMicroX to remap controller to keyboard input.
