**[Suggestion] Add Sale Confirmation System to Auction House (AH)**

Hi everyone,

I’d like to suggest a quality-of-life improvement for the Auction House (AH) system in MapleStory.

Currently, if a player accidentally lists an item at the wrong price, the item can be purchased instantly and lost permanently. This can result in extremely high losses, especially for valuable equipment. For many players, including myself, this kind of mistake can be very impactful.

**Suggested Solution: Sale Confirmation System**

* When a buyer purchases an item, the transaction does not complete immediately.
* The seller is given a short confirmation window (e.g., 5–10 minutes) to approve the sale.
* If the seller does not respond within that time, the transaction is automatically completed.

This system would allow sellers to double-check their listing and prevent accidental mispricing, while only causing a short delay for buyers.

**Optional Feature (Toggle Setting)**

* Enable sale confirmation (requires approval within 5–10 minutes)
* Disable sale confirmation (instant sale as current system)

This ensures flexibility for players who prefer either safety or speed.

**Additional Suggestion: Improve Price Display**

Large numbers can be hard to read and may lead to mistakes. A clearer format could help, such as:

* 100,000,000,000 → 100b
* 1,111,111,111,111 → 1.111t

This would make pricing more intuitive and reduce human error.

**Why This Matters**

Even careful players can make mistakes, and not everyone double-checks listings multiple times. While I personally check my prices carefully, I’ve seen many others lose valuable items due to simple errors.

Implementing this system could:

* Reduce accidental losses
* Lower support burden from item restoration requests
* Improve overall user experience in the AH

Since the transaction becomes final after the confirmation window, this approach should also avoid disputes.

**Conclusion**

I believe this would be a fair, optional, and valuable improvement for all players, making the Auction House safer and more user-friendly.

Thank you for your consideration.
