Hey everyone,
I'm new to MapleStory. I played MapleStoryR Evolution for the first time yesterday and have to say, I really enjoyed it.
So I thought, why not play on the PC?
Anyway, my question is: Is there a class you'd recommend?

no class recommendation...but you can get my perspective and some knowledge
you will need ALL of them up to 210 for links skills upgrade & legion block too(not that difficult but may feel like a wall when you fresh start XD)

classes i can suggest to avoid though
Demon Avenger(unless you got elite hands dont recommend)
Phantom(bad dps)...play it if you dont care too much, at least doesn't have it as bad as mechanic
Mechanic(utmost garbage dps class.....like 50% less than phantom)...avoid it like the plague
Blaster:....unless you got elite hands can't recommend

other really hard to play classes but nowhere as difficult as Blaster
F/P Mages, Adele, Hoyoung, Corsair, Sia, Evan, Illium, Lara, Evan, Zero

Braindead Classes
Marksman, Dawn Warrior, Demon Slayer, Buccaneer, Lynn, Shade, Wind Archer, Nightwalker, Bowmaster, Hero, Aran, Len

dont remember where they belong Classes
Bishop, Xenon, Shadower, Pathfinder, Luminous

remaining classes that haven't been listed above are all Middle Difficult class to play(at least as baseline pick up)

the list is their starting up difficulty, some class are easy pick up, but mastering them can be extremely difficult
for example:
Khali is a 3/5 stars as basic difficulty to handle but is a 5/5 for mastering it
meanhile
F/P mage is a 4/5 as basic difficulty to handle, but mastering it is still 4/5....so if you can handle its base difficulty, that mean you already mastered the class


on a last note, the difficulty a class is to play dont represent their mobbing effectiveness, but represent how difficult they are to handle for bossing
mobbing in general is 1-3 skills and done, but some mobbing skills are plain awful..so you could potentially pick a top dog at bossing, but they will be a piece of crap at mobbing XD.....honestly...i prefer classes that have good mobbing and aren't destroying my fingers, but i'am not much into brain dead class either....bossing dps is whatever so long its not as bad as Mechanic XD

imma leave it at that but i guess i can list you classes i personnaly enjoy
Khali, Len(ultra fluid mobbing), Kain, Dark Knight, Ark, Mercedes, Shade, Blaze Wizard, Nightwalker, Wind Archer, Wild Hunter, Angelic Buster, Cadena, I/L Mage, Dual Blade, Lynn, Dawn Warrior, Hero, Aran, Bowmaster...........i currently dont rly like Kinesis but a revamp of it is coming so idk if the changes will be to my liking or not, that said if they tweaked the current kinesis properly it could be an enjoyable class but they took the lazy way out so
note: Dark Knight and Night Walker are both bad mobber but i like dark themed class a lot so they're exampt of my no no list
also funnyly enough, ppl consider Night Walker a good mobber cause of the bats flying off XD

yes i did say i'am not much into brain dead classes, but that dont mean i mind playing them, just that i prefer to play class that are more at my skill level, so long as the brain dead class got good mobbing i can enjoy it

on another note....i'am biased againts zealous holy classes(Mihile, Paladin)...i absolutly loathe characters whom story is "social justice warrior"...i just can't get to like them...i know its all in my mind but...but i just can't thats how i'am.....so i would never promote them even if they were any good skill wise
