I saw an item fusion with wings of fate, is this for real or is it a glitch?

You mean the wings anvilled onto another cape item and then the effect toggled off for a free bootleg invisible/transparent cape?

It's not a glitch, but I'd bet a hefty sum that it'll be changed so that you can't do that anymore at some point in the future.

There are already NX capes that do the same.

Hell, we could get a few of those NX capes back when Maplehood Watch was going on, so it's not like it's an issue of "they paid money anyways, why not let them have at it"

why would they remove a feature of an intentonal function. the ability to toggle on and off a visual effect of an item is exactly what the toggle is meant to do, it does it with the wings of fate normally, so why would you not be able to do it if you anvil'd the cape to another cape?

I was thinking more along the lines of making the Wings of Fate unable to be used with a Fusion Anvil in the future. I dunno.

that would still be stupid and defeat the purpose of the anvil, which is to bring over the visuals/ appearance of one item and replace it over the the item you want to have it on. the only items that are actually barred from it are CS items.

at the end of the day you still had to pay (or get someone to pay) for an anvil anyway. if nexon is that "worried" and wants to sell the transparent cape or other transparent items, then they should.. you know, sell the perm transparent items year round..

also them barring the fusion of the wings of fate on items this late, will just open an inflated market of people selling capes already fused with the wings of fate.
