I seriously thought the game was buggying out when I tryed hitting Jr Yetis for nothing to appear at all. It for one looks awkward when trying to confirm if your attack actually registered or not and since monster name and level don't show up if the attack doesn't hit it makes it more confusing when your trying to figure out why your attacks are phasing through them.

Maybe your game is bugged, attacks still say they miss when they do. I'd assume DLL corruption if anything. Basically certain parts of Maplestory can get corrupted eventually if you don't do a full system reboot every once in a while, but rebooting at any time fixes them.

Also high latency can cause issues where your attacks seem to hit but actually have a delay and do nothing until the game catches up.

    Not all attacks say "MISS".
I've seen people post on the subreddit as well as these forums that they see nothing when they attack monsters, and it always turns out that the monster is too high level.
It might be that only certain classes, or only certain damage skins, have this issue.
As for a possible memory corruption, this isn't a known symptom, but maybe? @sylphwind , are you suffering from any of the symptoms listed here: http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/151/memory-dll-corruption ?

Trust me it's definitely some kind of bug or latency issue, and not intended.
