Black Friday RNG Perm Reboot Pet

Why is the first permanent pet everyone can get in Reboot (and not just blasters), from a random box?

If Nexon is apparently willing to put permanent pets in Reboot, can we get one that isn't chance based?

    The pet is only in the Reboot box (the non-Reboot servers get a different box with "pay2win" items), and the notice explicitly says "permanent".
    I don't see how that can be a mistake.
    So yes, Nexon will let us have a permanent pet on Reboot - at a minimum price of 25k, which is enough for a pet and about two years' worth of Water of Life. And of course there's no guarantee you'll get it even at that price. RNG might make it 50k, or 100k, or ... or the boxes will sell out before you get your pet. But you will have a ton of duplicate chairs and equipment covers!

    Boy what I would do for a perm pet...that didn't require eating my wallet.
