Elite Monster Not Registering for Collection

Killed a Petrifying Taurospear for Monster Collection, yet it did not register in the collection. Prior to this, every correct Elite Monster that was part of the collection successfully registered. It takes a very very long time to find the correct elite and a lot of work, killing yourself to prevent yourself from over-leveling and moving out of the level range needed to summon elites.
Is this related to the issues with Elite Monsters not being labelled correctly?
