To patch MapleStory to the latest version, please use either Steam or Nexon Launcher to open MapleStory as normal. This will initiate the patching process for the latest available version.

How to patch and download MapleStory:

You may download MapleStory through the Nexon Launcher and through Steam.

Depending on which you choose to use, the process will be slightly different. See below for steps regarding the Nexon Launcher.

  • 1. Open the Nexon Launcher and Login.
  • 2. Go to the MapleStory "Game Page".
  • 3. Click "UPDATE", as seen below.
  • 4. MapleStory will proceed to update to the latest version.
  • 5. When the download is complete, the "UPDATE" button will change to "PLAY". This may take some time depending on the size of the patch and your internet connection. Please be patient.
