Maplestory client issue

I had a desire to return to Maplestory during the break.
So I:
1. Downloaded the nexon launcher.
2. Waited patiently until all files were downloaded.
3. Clicked Play
4. Saw Nexon Game Security boot up.
5. Maplestory closes itself o_0 and play button lights up again.

After this happened, I tried the following things:
1. Tried Gamelauncher.exe with admin rights [Failed]
2. Changed to compatibility mode to each option on the list [Failed]
3. Completely turned off my firewalls for public and private network settings. [Failed]
Any kind of help I would gladly take ._.

UPDATE:
In an attempt to fix maplestory, I tried these other methods.
1. Used the repair option in the Nexon Game Launcher [Failed]
2. Purged Maplestory completely and did a full reinstall via Nexon Game Launcher [Failed]
3. Downloaded Maplestory via Steam and tried the Steam version [Failed]
4. Purged "Steam" Maplestory and reinstalled it [Failed]

At this point I'm at a loss on what to do.

    Eeeehn... I seem to recall having a similar issue a while back, I think all I did was redownload and reinstall it, after purging it from my computer entirely.
