    The thing is, even with the censors people still work around the censors by using spaces, numbers, and other symbols to bypass the censor so...

    Greetings everyone,

    We have received word on when we will see the updated list of censored words introduced onto live.
    We're expecting the changes to take place with the next update in early May.

    Please note that this will not be the final edit and that we plan to continue making changes down the line.
    As our language evolves so must our censored words in-game!

    Thank you,
    Arwoooo~

    @Arwoo ,
    The "next update in early May" just happened.
    I see very few changes to the censor. Even most of the "teasers" you posted are still censored.
    :(

    Hmmm... not to worry too much. We're planning to keep going at the list of censored words until we get it to perfection.
    On the bright side, all LGBT censorships have been lifted along with other words which made having a conversation difficult.

    Which is really not the kind of thing you want if you're trying to show a game dev you're mature enough to handle a game with no censor.

    Why is this even up to someone else to decide? Why don't we get to have a toggle and decide for ourselves if we're mature enough to handle words on the internet.

    @JushiroNet Exactly! It's nice to hear they are working on this, but why keep the nanny state alive? Leaving out the choice for us to toggle the filter basically screams out "you are a bunch of irresponsible immature brats and don't deserve it" and that kind of talk is very insulting to the community here, Neo. Every other MMO I have played in the last few years is way past this nonsense already with updated/evolved chat filtration systems.
    Being able to put people on an ignore list in Maple would also be nice, by the way.
