Can't create a tera burning character

The event is still going on but I don't see any dialogue or checkboxes to click to activate tera burning when creating a character.
The process -> Create a character -> pick class -> choose key settings -> enter game.

    Oh yeah, if you're trying to burn a hoyoung, they're ineligible for this burn and every other one for the next probably five or six months. It's this way with all new classes, all the way back to blaster.

    Did you maybe already create another burning character? If you haven't, then your "Create Character" button should have a pop up saying that you can tera burn.
    Unless it got bugged after the recent patch on Dec. 18.

    Oh. You're right. I thought that there was a new tera burning because of the new game update.
