Bossing is a major content in maplestory. It is also something that is forcing you to party up.
It forces you to play with someone else, but you get disadvantage when playing in party.
How does that even work?

I like helping people and playing with friends, and what I hate is that I have to get less and less rewards from bossing more people I help or play with.
It is also frustrating to divide loots, or impossible.
This kind of stuff effects social relationship negatively in maplestory.

Someone who carries have to feel meaningless carrying someone, and play in less-rewarding situation, which always pushes them to solo.

Someone who get carried have to test themselves with morality because someone else is going to take more loots then others, and doing the same makes you a trash person who steals the loots from who carried you. Which also pushes them to solo.

This is not a good system in game like maplestory.

Make system where if a person succeed on soloing certain boss, they get the same amount when they party up with someone(including the Intense Power Crystal).
Also separate rare drop items drop rate by person, and make them only visible to the person who got that item dropped.
Someone who gets carried on certain boss(who did not succeed on soloing) should only get the shared loots + rare drops if they happen to get one.

Please make the party system more social friendly.

Well quite many bosses already have instanced drops (like empress, CRA, nlotus, ndamien, nwill, nlucid, gloom, vhilla, darknell and black mage). Then there's cpap and hard bosses which drop those items to party, cpap isn't that hard to solo but hlotus/hdam/hlucid/hwill aren't that common to be soloed anyways and when you party up it's quite easy to just sell the items and split the profit.
CRA used to have instanced equip drops but that caused problems with ppl getting full party to carry and get tons of loot themselves then, which was quite broken and fixed with the emblems.
Lower tier bosses don't really give anything valuable so it doesn't matter if there's instanced drops or not, the items will basically be extracted anyways for sup crystals.

Some of the hard, chaos boss drops still depends on drop rate of last person hits, and you can't ignore the price of intense power crystal. When you starts to solo them is when you need the most meso because of arcane symbols.
It's also the time when people starts to cube, spelltrace, starforce their gears.

There's no way people can afford them without getting supplied, or spend so much time on farming stuff.
When people are hungry for meso, they don't want to help people clearing those bosses.

I've seen many people refusing to help after solo achievement because of the loots. Even with the low tier bosses, people refuse to party up because they still make out mesos from their intense power crystal, rare boss drops, and cubes. They don't want to party up even there's a system called guild contribution where you have to party up to get exp for the guild.

You also can't just ignore the fact that crusader coin drops are not shared(spell trace supply), crafting materials are not shared(cube, meso supply) when boss system literally tells you to queue up with teammate or spend bunch of time moving around maps to reach certain bosses. Maplestory is forcing players to play solo, and at the same time they want you to party up. Even excluding bosses, party system is not designed to be social friendly.

I wanted a new boss queue system because the current allowed randoms to take over the party leader position of preformed parties. It introduces the threat of the random looting your stuff, 1 shotting it and taking all the loot or going into the wrong difficulty, etc. If I cannot get cubes or items because of some strangers coming into my party and taking stuff, then solo play will be more viable.

Adding a real Party Finder, being able to kick people during content if at least 60% of the party agrees, have a party queue that shows you is joining so you can manage who goes in and who does not.

You know, basic MMO principles in 2020, none of which are in MapleStory. Could get some inspiration from FFXIV and how that game deals with party content. This would help to avoid people who die and remain dead or don't contribute.

Nexon did not like it when people could run with 5 of their own mules, and effectively end up with 6x the loot all to themselves.

Well if they can solo any boss with 5 of their own mules, they're just shortening the time they spend. It's still possible to do that.

Also, it's wrong people have to take so much disadvantages from bad behaving players.
Since when maplestory was like that?
Old time we used to play party quests together, no worry for mules or hackers.

Instead of party quest, players are stuck to grinding because of all the advantages you can take from rune buff, exp coupon, elite monster, and fury/frenzy totem are encouraging people solo play.
Loots from bossing also force people to solo play, and horde hordes of daily quest are forcing players to spend time alone more than enjoy the content in maplestory.

I understand people's mindset could be different from old times, and people might enjoy the game play like that.
However boss partying is still fun, and it shouldn't force players to solo them.

Nexon should try to encourage people to be more social, not forcing them to solo intentionally, or unintentionally.

If they're worried about hackers, and mules, they should start adding phone verifications or mule detection that can block people from using them. Fury totems and rune curses are not the right system to block them.

Normal players are already getting disadvantages from not having mules. Some items in auction house price going down, and people feels down because they're always losing twice of their effort than those who have mules. I've seen people complaining.

People can't have the same advantages, but they have to share the disadvantage that mule players have caused it. That's a very unfair thing.
It's also not justifiable thing for nexon when they're even selling those frenzy totem at the gambling content.

Those bad behaving players shouldn't be the cause to make players to be less social.

well for some content you could still party up with 6 others who can solo and each having 5 mules who just can enter to get that 6x reward. Though it's not really that good mostly.
