Needs and Wants for Beast Tamer [EDIT:12/11/23]

This is a list of overdo needs and wants that the Beast Tamer is still missing and must be implemented sooner than later.

Starting with the needs:

~ Beast Tamer needs to be able to max out every single skill at base, preferably by level 200 and the remainder 150 SP can be given out between 200-250 like it is now.
This is very much needed for all new Beast Tamer characters as the veteran Beast Tamer characters have additional SP from their hat and soul weapon allowing them to gain access to all of the passives due to legacy lines, this is impossible to acquire for new Beast Tamer characters and really decreases the play experience for new players.

~ Beast Tamer needs a significant MP recovery passive for all of the animal modes, especially to help counter Mana Overflow MP consumption.

~ Beast Tamer needs a "shared" 5th job skill, in a similar concept to what Zero and Kinesis are getting in the Saviour Update coming up.

~ Beast Tamer needs a cat mode revamp.
Cat Mode should remain as a dedicated support concept, so most utility and buffs in the game, but weakest solo damage of the four animals.

Some things to point out for Cat Mode changes:
- Friend Launcher full rework. Make something that is both fun to use and look at, while removing the key mashing aspect about it and allow it to gain full benefits from just simply holding down its attack key.

- Purr-Powered full rework. This is a very outdated passive that currently gives 30% stance and 100 hp/mp per 4 seconds. Perhaps something like 4% hp/mp per 4 seconds and also restores nearby party members too.

-Meow Heal improvements. Allow this skill to be cast in the air, make the yarns balls of healing bigger to be easier to hit allies with it, and boost recovery amount of 20% to 100% so that a brand new and unfunded Beast Tamer can actually heal something (funded Beast Tamers can full heal with it at 20% recovery).

-Purr Zone full rework. Change this to something like summon duration increased to 60 seconds, can now critically strike, and damage increase to something like 400% damage 5 times from 1,000% damage 1 time, and healing changed to 20% max HP to party members inside per interval instead of 550 flat HP recovery per interval.

~ Beast Tamer needs Cat Mode to have a passive + -2 attack speed passive.
All of the animal modes get a passive + -2 attack speed passive except for Cat Mode, only gold card gives attack speed which makes things awkward for Cat Mode which they only get their missing attack speed during Whistle (All Together! Critter Crossing!).

Wants for Beast Tamer:

~ Hyper Passive Changes.
Change Beast Tamer's hyper passives to instead of being 12 options and 5 choices to make, allow for each animal to have 9 options and 5 choices to choose from for each animal (this would mean Beast Tamer would have 20 active hyper passives at the same time when all hyper passive SP has been handed out). As Beast Tamer can only play in one animal at a time they would only be making use of 5 hyper passives at a time anyways, but this way it encourages players to constantly swap in and out of different animal modes more often than just dedicate themselves to only 1 animal and sometimes 2 animals.

~ Add a passive to Whistle (All Together! Critter Crossing!)
The idea of adding a passive of something like whenever you switch to another animal mode you retain the passives of the previous animal you were in for 180 seconds. You would only be able to retain 1 additional animal at a time and the passive and active effect would not stack (active overrides the passive granting access to all the animal passives like it currently does now).

These changes would really help boost and encourage players constantly swapping between animals rather than sticking to just one animal the whole time, creating a fun and unique playstyle for Beast Tamer like how I always imagined the way they ideally should be played.

~ Being able to move during Hawk Mode's Tornado:
This was a half-fixed bug in Ignition and it was the most fun I ever had with Beast Tamer and wish this was implemented officially, it also was a massive quality of life improvement for Hawk Mode's bossing as well being able to dodge boss attacks during Tornado. Only thing with a change like this is that Tornado would need a bigger animation / hitbox to go along with this change.

Updated Needs:

[RESOLVED] ~ Beast Tamer's Hero's Will skill needs a reduced cooldown to 300 seconds, it is currently still 360 seconds, longer than all of the other Hero's Will skills are at.

~ Beast Tamer's Leopard Mode's Bro Attack skill (the baby snow leopards) need the following improvements:
- Ability to Critically Strike.
- Ability to hit bosses.
- Added to a boost node for its final damage + other benefits boost.

~ Beast Tamer's Cat Mode's Purr Zone need the following improvements:
- Added to a boost node for its final damage + other benefits boost.
- Plus its other needs listed above. With a rundown of what it needs:
> Longer duration.
> Possibly bigger area.
> More healing in an updated style.
> More lines for damage.
> More damage per interval.
> Able to critically strike.

~ Beast Tamer's Cat Mode's resurrection skill update:
> Cooldown reduced to 600 seconds.
> Upon a successful resurrection, cooldown applies and grants 8 seconds of invincibility for the Beast Tamer and the revived party members.
> Upon a successful resurrection, restore +1 life count (includes if the party member had 0 lives remaining) for sections that have a life count to revived party members.
[This will offer some more utility for Beast Tamer and update a party resurrection skill for current MapleStory and act like a reverse version of Bishop's Heaven's Door.]

~ Beast Tamer's Bear Mode needs vertical movement.

~ Beast Tamer's Bear Mode still has a (passive) skill that gives 95% stance at max rank.
- Replace with an effect that is useful for current MapleStory.

~ Beast Tamer's Cat Mode needs vertical movement.

~ Allow for Beast Tamer's Hawk Mode's Fly skill to reset its cooldown during screen transitions, which includes things like Maple Tour, Monster Park, and certain boss fights to create a better and more pleasant gameplay experience.

(Only being able to use Fly for a short time for a single map in things like Maple Tour and Monster Park and cannot use it for the rest of maps is very annoying and ruins the play experience for this type of content. For boss fights it would be nice to not have to hold on to Fly and not use it when the boss is about to do a screen transition to its next phase. )

~ As well as include V Matrix boost nodes to every attack and grant each skill a HEXA Matrix Mastery version as the 4 Mastery Node slots get filled out over time. This includes things like:
- Hawk Mode's Raptor Talons, which currently is a bleed debuff, but can use a bit of an update including making it be able to critically strike.
- Cat Mode's Cat's Cradle Blitzkrieg, which mostly is used for its party debuff, it is still a summon that deals damage on its own and has a lot of potential for a HEXA Mastery version.

    This class is underpowered based on the recent improvements and damage buffs that literally every class has gotten post-Destiny update while Beast Tamer has gotten no love since then.
