I’m honestly at a point where I just don’t get it anymore.

You can’t even handle something as basic as the VMware issue, yet we’re supposed to believe there’s a “fair gaming environment”? Right now, that’s just not the reality.

VMware literally lets people bypass GM monitoring like it’s nothing. So what’s the point of enforcement if it can be dodged this easily?

On regular servers, people are mass-creating thousands of accounts, abusing events and those ridiculous Hot Weeks to farm effectively unlimited cubes, then flooding the market like it’s a joke.

On Reboot, it’s even worse — 24/7 botting, infinite meso farming, pulling absurd numbers like 15T EXP a day and speedrunning to level 300. Meanwhile legit players are out here grinding nonstop just to fall further behind.

Either way, everything normal players work for just gets devalued. Time, effort, progression — none of it means anything when cheaters can outpace you infinitely with zero consequences.

I genuinely love this game. I’ve invested a lot of time into it, and I don’t want to see it slowly ruined by bot farms and unchecked abuse.

That’s why this is so frustrating — because it feels like the people who care the most about the game right now aren’t the ones running it.

This isn’t sustainable.

Fix the VMware loopholes.
Deal with botting and multi-account abuse properly.
Actually protect the integrity of the game.

Because right now, it just feels pointless to play legit, tbh.

And just so you know, cubes from bot farms are under $1 each, while you’re selling them for $2 in the cash shop. No matter how often you run cube sales, you’re still not competitive. Do you guys on the GMS team even realize this?
The only real way to save GMS is to get rid of VMs, including Reboot. I play on both servers, and I honestly find both of them pretty depressing.

GMS Reg Server deviated hard from KMS yet we still get features works better with KMS's core system. A lot of the abuse in Reg Server could come from Reg being already hard to downright impossible F2P due to GMS's intentional game design and players trying to even the odds.

KMS's free Karma Cubes works better there since they got Magic Wand with the ability to decide to keep the result or not and a scissor count on more items to prevent items from being endless PSOKed through cube mules. I'm not sure if they got perfect innos, but perfect inno pretty much is the enabler for bots in GMS to "free" 6L Eternals and Pitch since they can reset whenever the scissor count is exhausted. The amount of mesos they make on the side enables them convert mesos to MP to buy scissors easily. Players who made their 6L item for fun cannot make a good profit in AH since they have to compete with botters who will undercut them and Nexon. It is really terrible the most optimal way of gearing is to undercut Nexon and enable botters instead of making the items yourself F2P or the cash shop (the cash shop also sucks too.)

I've been a fan wanting to see Magic Wand make its debut in GMS since it would give players a safer, on demand means of working on Potentials and Bonus Potentials without relying on shady service from bots or other players. I'm curious if we ever get ours there would be tweaks since GMS has spawn enhancers and higher mesos, so the price for rerolls go up to scale with our inflation or mesos becomes limited with the daily cap or the reroll price becomes dynamic.

Playing multiple accounts manually shouldn't be punishable as long its one client per PC and you aren't actually hacking. Making rewards that aren't transferrable to others but greatly benefit the main account is a move to improve to player experience without creating a black market for free transferrable gifts EXAMPLE: 2000 Untradeable Sol Erda Fragments per account vs 50 tradeable fragments per account.
