in the quest "The Book of Ancient" the NPC "Wiz the Librarian" says the wooden door is on the left but it actually is on the right

    It's not really misleading, just a simple text error.

    And hey, if you think that's bad, you should've seen the old version of the quest that had you going between three different continents about a dozen times.

    I actually quite liked the old version of it. It was one of the few quest chains in the game that actually felt like you were accomplishing something great with your character. Now its a joke, like most other quests

    That's not the quest they're talking about.
    Alcaster's "The Book of Ancient" has nothing to do with Wiz the Librarian.
    The one with Wiz is the Cygnus Knight 3rd job advancement.
