Hot Week Day 2 Not Opening Storage Slots

I used my day 2 storage slot coupon, and no empty spaces got added to my storage.
I still only have half of the storage room for my use.
The funny thing is that i thought this was gonna happen..
Please help me

    Storage slot expansions can take a while - up to a few hours - to register.
    Check again later.
