"Having trouble logging in?" Error Message on Bera
Yesterday night, all of Bera's channels crashed(which I verified with this
http://maplestory.nexon.net/server-status#show-servers=) and I was disconnected while logged into my main. Upon restarting the game, I got this message when trying to pull up Bera.
Afterwards, I was not able to login to my main and only my main. I am able to login to every other char on the account, including other worlds. This is the error message I get.
At the time of writing this post, Bera has crashed yet again and I am unable to even login. I get the "That ID is already logged in. Please try again later"
Other users on Reddit have also reported this issue.

It should be noted that Bera has been crashing multiple times in the past day as well.
This error occurs on different computers and at different IP addresses with both GameLauncher and Nexon Launcher. I already submitted a ticket to Nexon support and have not gotten a response yet, but seeing 2x weekend pass by while my 15+ hours of 2x coupons expire have made me antsy, so if anyone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.

Were you not able to access your main character since the servers crashed?
or does it only happen from time to time?
i'll update as soon as there are any developments.
It's just shameful that the support tells me to check Firewall settings when I specifically said that the issue occurs on multiple computers and IP locations.
I followed their instructions to see if any program was blocking Maplestory, none. Ran the game launcher as administrator, nope. Logged on to a different computer, nope. Used a different IP address, nope. The problem isn't our computer. Its the server. Please fix this!!! I don't want to miss Black Friday.
Why should we lose out on the game because people in Bera are deliberately and illegally crashing the server to dupe items? Please fix this issue already.
And of course I won't be given compensation for a server-sided issue that forced me to lose my 2x coupons and miss out on hot week and 2x weekend, etc.
"Hello Mapler,
We apologize for the delayed response and I see that the issue still persists. For now, we would like you to do clean boot process on your PC and we hope this will fix the issue.
To perform Clean Boot:
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
2. Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.
On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click Disable all.
On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager.
On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.
Close Task Manager.
3. On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.
Make sure that you have our Nexon Game Launcher installed.
>> Open Game folder and launch the game directly there ( Usually found in C: Program Files\Nexon\MapleStory or C: Nexon\MapleStory).
If you are able to launch and play the game then one of your installed programs is blocking it from running. You will need to identify which program is blocking it.
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
2. Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.
3. Tap or click the Services tab, and then tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box.
4. Tap or click to select the upper half of the check boxes in the Service list.
5. Tap or click OK,
6. After the computer finishes restarting, determine whether the problem still occurs.
If the problem still occurs, repeat steps 1 through 6, but clear the lower half of the check boxes in the Service list that you originally selected.
If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 through 6, and select only the upper half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Service list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.
If you still experience the problem when only one service is selected in the Service list, this means that the selected service causes the problem, and you should go to step 11. If no service causes the problem, go to step 8.
7. Repeat steps 1 and 3 in this section.
8. Tap or click the Startup tab, and then tap or click to select the upper half of the check boxes in the Startup Item list.
9. Click OK, and then click Restart.
If the problem still occurs, repeat steps 8 and 9, but clear the lower half of the checked boxes in the Startup Item list that you originally selected.
If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 8 and 9, and select only the upper half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Startup Item list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.
If you still experience the problem after only one Startup Item is selected in the Startup Item list, this means that the selected Startup Item causes the problem, and you should go to step 11. If no Startup Item causes this problem, a Microsoft service probably causes the problem. To determine which Microsoft service may be causing the problem, repeat steps 1 through 7 without selecting the Hide all Microsoft services check box in each step.
After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start normally.
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
2. Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.
On the General tab, tap or click the Normal Startup option.
Tap or click the Services tab, clear the check box beside Hide all Microsoft services, and then tap or click Enable all.
Tap or click the Startup tab, and then tap or click Open Task Manager.
In task manager, enable all of your startup programs, and then tap or click OK.
3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, tap or click Restart.
Once done, please try opening MapleStory once again to check if this has solved your issue."
I didn't buy 2x coupons from Cash Shop. I meant 2x use Coupons. And yes, I am expecting to be given no compensation for an issue on their end. The live chat support told me "your request for compensation will be forwarded to the Game Team".
Later in the ticket/email response I got: "Please know that regardless of whether the issue is wide spread or not, we won't be able to provide any type of compensation. Compensations are only made available proactively by the developers and not via requests. I sincerely apologize for the letdown."
Honestly, the point of this thread is to see if by dumb luck anyone knows a fix for this issue and to see how many other people have this issue. I'm hoping the server maintenance will cause a "refresh" on all accounts and I'll be able to login again. What I'm worried about is that I'll be able to login but still get a "Having trouble logging in" message for my main stilll.
