this thread is the only shining light in this whole place.
But srsly, what are these bots trying to accomplish? I copied their text into a translator and found nothing comprehensible. If they're trying to make money or something it doesn't make any sense.

I honestly don't know either, I don't know anyone stupid enough to fall for them, and personally I think they're inefficient advertising.
I've been told that it's not about getting people to fall for anything, but about getting clicks to the website. Which I still don't think anyone is stupid enough to do, but whatever, I don't know much about the details of spam bots. As for why they're incomprehensible, most bots tend to be, even when in English. I think it's a defense mechanism against post filters that scan for certain phrases or something.
The best thing you can do is ignore and report them. Don't give them attention, which is just encouraging them.

I think it's them just trying to mess with nexon for being such a bad company. But then again that's just what I hope is happening.
First time seeying these spam of posts f6, well good job on removing those, i couldn't even see them the other times xD. Still confused on why this happens...
Is there anything else that the admins and VFM plans to do to further increase anti-spamming protections, or against bots? As of right now, there are nasty posts from them, it's crazy.
Bots spamming the forums? This is new to me. And extremely hilarious.
A few years back we'd get people spam... adult entertainment gifs and pictures on the old forums.
Right I remember that. One of the reasons they took out picures and gif signatures in the old forums. Let's not forget that one imposter gm that tried to get people's information by their website they kept spamming for codes or whatever.
That same imposter gm would create posts calling out forums volunteer mods and say they were caught doing illegal activities in the game and shouldn't be trusted. Later the mods would say otherwise and lock that persons thread.

I give you my support regarding this
Especially when the VFMs are there to clean up the mess every morning.
Nah but in reality it is definitely fun, just a lot of responsibility.
