Lag and program freeze in entering game attempts

I am unable to enter the game but i can log in to it. Im getting lag and program freeze. I have been having this problem for three days now, and i just returned from a break from maple for some months. anyone having this problem? Or have a solution? I re-download maple story by the way.

    this is a strange issue because i normally can log in easily enough even if it take a second try.
