Controller setup

Can someone figure this out for me?
I'm trying to come back to the game but I have a PS4 controller now. I'm trying to map jump to my X button but each time I press my O button I jump as well.
It's like the game automatically set O to jump already.
Is there anything I can do in the game to change this automatic setting?

I remember Maple used to have controller settings in the game but now I can't find them. Yet functions are still mapped (randomly) to my controller.

Why don't you just use O for jump?

Simply because I don't want to and other buttons are also bound to things that I don't want.
For example, my right trigger keeps activating a skill that I don't want to use at all.

Why can't Maple just let me unbind jump from O and rebind it to X?

I'm having a similar problem with my xbox 360 controller where I can walk but none of the assigned keys
function on my controller. No button will jump, attack, etc.
Following, hopefully there is a solution.

Xpadder isn't the issue. The issue is that whatever I do on Xpadder Maplestory itself makes it so that O is jump.
I want to remove that. I want to clear whatever default or random setting Maple has set for my controller.

Nexon please fix this! At least disconnect Maplestory from our controllers so we can use our own apps!

Nexon please re-add joypad settings; playing with 20 keys on a keyboard hurts my hands
