    My name carried over.

    It's because we get these Korean spammers every once in a while so they put in this system to try to slow them down.

    I didn't register again. I just logged into the maplestory home page because I wanted to see my ranking. Then I clicked on the community page and it brought me here. I didn't reregister, pick this name, or wait 24 hours.

    my guess is that I had a 2 year hiatus because my old lap top broke making my inactive.

    It was pretty weird how I was able to recover this name when I login & reconfirmed everything.
