    Don't worry it's the same for me. So pretty much you put the skill on some slot, let's say D. To use it, you need to have your dragon gauge opened up and the drop down list with which buttons to press opened. Now onto how to use it. If the way to use the skill is 'Attack + [!]' then you press it in that order (not at the same time) in rapid succession. So press your normal attack button, let go, and press D (or your dragon link skill button). If it's 'Attack + [^] [!]', then again press attack, up, D and so on. When you're at 4th job and you use Dragon Barrage, the directional press is the opposite of your current direction so if you were facing right, you press left and vice versa.
